- What felt diversified 🎨: People who enjoyed using it
A lot of people had fun generating portraits of themselves or their families. Personally, I found it cute and heartwarming to see familiar faces reimagined as anime characters, especially for those familiar with Studio Ghibli’s work. It’s interesting how people embrace the nostalgia associated with anime in general, and Ghibli in particular.
- What lacked creativity 🐑: People sharing/citing Hayao Miyazaki on AI and art
The intention behind this seems to be a call for creativity, but it often felt repetitive. Everyone sounded the same, and those who didn’t just echoed Miyazaki’s thoughts as if he needed a spokesperson (I have a lot of respect for him, but I don’t think he needs an advocate).- Me
